What exactly are you feeding your cows?

We feed our cattle a carefully balanced diet tailored to each stage of their life, ensuring high-quality, grass-finished beef:

  • Calves: Our calves start on a milk replacer formula, providing vital nutrients and vitamins for healthy development.
  • Mid-Growth: We provide a nutritious blend of corn and hay to support muscle growth and optimal body condition.
  • Finishing: We raise our herd to finish with grass and hay, delivering a natural diet to produce premium grass-finished beef.

What do you mean "no added hormones"?

At Triple J's, "no added hormones" means we let nature do the work, raising our herd completely free of synthetic growth stimulants or artificial injections. While all animals produce hormones naturally, our cattle mature at their own healthy pace on a clean, wholesome diet. By committing to zero added hormones, we guarantee pure, premium beef you can feel good about feeding your family.

What are the living conditions of your herd?

Our cattle are raised in a spacious, low-stress environment with access to open pastures, fresh air, and clean water. We use humane handling practices and rotational grazing to support both animal well-being and healthy land stewardship. No matter what Minnesota's seasons bring, our cattle have access to shelter from the elements

Are your cows given antibiotics?

We only administer antibiotics when absolutely necessary to treat a sick animal, prioritizing their health and welfare. If a cow requires treatment, it is safely quarantined, and we strictly follow all regulatory withdrawal periods to ensure no antibiotic residues ever enter the food supply.

What is in a Triple J's beef box?

Every standard 20 or 30-pound beef box is thoughtfully curated with half ground beef and the rest filled with delicious roasts and steaks.

We do not customize the beef boxes however, we do accept custom orders.

We accept payment in card, cash, or Venmo. Payments made with a card are subject to a 2.6% service fee.
